As a photographer you are always looking for that perfect light, you know the one, the light that flatters, the light that complements the look you are going for, the light that leaves little post processing work.
Well by chance I stumbled across exactly what I was looking for. I won't give the location away but in some lovely gardens and woodland in Gloucester I stumbled across an old dove house. After struggling with the light outside all day I was buzzing when we found this place.
A strong but soft light from one window and ambient light from the next, it was just perfect. I didn't have to tweak the ISO up too high either... great!
Here are a few of the shots from the session. All pretty much untouched in post processing apart from making the blacks a little more black.
